So, if you read my previous post, you know I’m attempting to sew a skirt from the Alabama Stitch book. While I’m still not at a sewing point, I have been working away at it. The pattern was traced onto freezer paper and then onto the actual jersey cotton. Four skirt panels have been cut from both the steely blue jersey as well as the darker navy jersey. And today, after finishing up the panels, I traced out and cut the bloomer stencil from the book onto freezer paper. After finally deciding which knit I wanted to be on top, I painted the stencil onto the bottom of all four panels of the steely blue knit.

And now they dry. At some point I’ll actually get to sewing.
