This was mine when I was a little girl. I remember picking it out at the kiosk at the mall with my parents (obviously long before my sewing days). I’m not really a pink girl, nor was I then, but I chose a very pink quilt.

At some point, my younger daughter claimed it as hers. She loves one corner (the most degraded one) the most to rub her nose with it.

I don’t know how much longer it will stay in one-ish piece. I keep finding pieces of the fabric and my son likes to rip out pieces of the batting. He delights in the ripping noise.

At this point, it is well beyond fixing. But I’m not sure I could make something that could even come close to “pink blankey”.
